OK.. here is my first attempt at a blog. I was inspired by my cousin's wife and everybody that seems to blog. What a great way to keep up with everybody and what is going on in their life! Yesterday was just a normal Sunday for us. Our choir's Christmas program was yesterday and I have to say it was great. Kudos to Mark for doing such a great job organizing and putting it all together. After church we went to lunch with our LifeGroup friends and then headed off to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. My kids love the cartoon version so I figured this would be a huge hit with them. Emma actually sounds like a chipmunk! If you haven't seen the movie, I recommend it. My kids loved it! It is the first movie that Luke actually stayed in the theatre to watch. We made it all the way through with no trips to the bathroom. Of course what 5 year old boy doesn't like potty jokes! It kept him entertained and laughing the whole time. Emma actually loved it too! She was singing along and dancing in her chair. So cute. I think I enjoyed the movie so much because the kids had such a great time. This will be a definite purchase once it comes out on DVD. We had such a wonderful Sunday. It was a shame that it had to come to an end. After all the adventure we came home and put on our jammies and just chilled. The kids were in bed by 7:30 and I actually got some stuff accomplished!
